How long do I have to send Thank you cards for bridal shower gifts?

I had about 40-50 people at mine and I mailed them the next day. I think less than a month would be good etiquette.

I say 1-2 weeks.

Rather than worry about how long you have, I would just get them done asap. Most of the time when brides say they are too busy, it’s really that they are making other choices re how to spend their free time.

I had about 40 people and I sent mine out maybe 2 weeks after my shower.

As with all thank you cards, you should send them as soon as possible, as guests deserve to be thanked, in writing, promptly.  I had mine out within a couple of days — I would advise you to get them sent out as soon as you can.

I had mine done and in the mail by the Tuesday after my Saturday shower, and this was with having my Bachlorett party that night.  Sitting on them instead of getting them done wasn’t going to get them to hatch.  I figured from that point foward life was only going to get more busy.

After a month I would probably start wondering. I had all of mine in the mail a week after with about 50 TYs.

I got mine in the mail by the following Friday – I wanted to get them sent out before I dealt with out invitations and I REALLY wanted to send them out the next Monday. I made myself do Thank Yous before the invitations.

Barbiestylez:  It doesn’t matter how long you have i think the sooner the better it’s one thing you should not be worry about before the wedding so you can relax

Barbiestylez:  I did mine the next day. Many, many people noticed. In terms of “etiquette”, probably 6 months?
