This cycle I've had EWCM for 9 days! When it first showed up I was SO EXCITED... after day 6 or 7 I was like hurry up and ovulate already. I think my hubby was even getting tired of me chasing him around ;)
It started on CD14 and yesterday was CD22. I think I finally O'd Sunday or yesterday.. and have yet to see any CM today. So hopefully we can rest for a while :)
This is only my second cycle of charting CM and I don't think it every got to EWCM last cycle. I'm pretty used to nothing being normal over here though.
Mine varies. Sometimes 3 days... sometimes 1-2. Usually there is a noticeable increase, meaning just a little the first day, then a little more, before having a peak day or EWCM.
Hey ladies, can you ovulate without EWCM? I've had some increased almost lotion like mucus but haven't noticed my tell tale clear jello kinda stuff! I'm on CD 23 and last month didn't get EWCM till CD35!!!
Right now not using OPK's, or temping, just watching the body and BDing like crazy! This is tough as I can't tell when my cycle is meant to begin though!
Advice anyone?
I am a little thrown by this and maybe it's nothing, yet. I have had it all day and a few cramps here and there leading me to think maybe just maybe I will O a little earlier this month.
@nskillet: All of my googling tells me that it goes like this: dry, then sicky, then lotiony, then EWCM. I have read that some women have tons and others have none! When I was in my 20's I went off BCP for a few months and I got a ton then. Now, it's definitely there but much much less.
Winnie!! You're the best. Hopefully my body is getting ready to O then! Hubby has been ready and raring to go! This morning he woke me up saying "ITS BABY TIME!!" lol
I get frustrated with my cycles cause they tend to be super wonky. I was on a great 32-34 day streak for awhile and then WHOMP in came a 47 dayer which totally threw me off. I keep wondering if watching everything makes it late!
I have EWCM from ovulation until my period for some really strange reason. It's definitely EWCM b/c before ovulation, it's just sticky/watery and my EWCM stretches 2-4 inches.
So I went and looked at my chart from last cycle and I was a good symptom keeper (I didn't recall keeping track)! Last month, I had EWCM from CD 13-19 with + OPKs on CD 18 and 19. Sooo hopefully that means that this month with EWCM on CD 10 I will get + OPKs on CD 16 and 17.
Update: got + OPKs on CD 15 this month...crazy what an indicator EWCM really is!
I never got EWCM. It was always on the thinner side and cloudy. But I was obviously still ovulating.

Quick question - how long do you usually get your EWCM for? I have read anywhere from 2-3 days before to 6 days before.
It's CD 10 here and I already have EWCM (no positive OPK). I have O'd on days 18-22 since January so this seems early to me. Off pill since January and had an early miscarriage in May so I guess anything is still possible.
