On a regular day, I spend  about 10 minutes doing my hair – a French braid and then into a bun. I do it every day so I’m pretty fast at it, and my hair is shoulder-length so it’s not a massive task.

On days when I wash my hair, add on 5 minutes (if hairwashing is counted).

If it’s on the shorter side, 10 minutes. If it’s getting out of control long — probably closer to 30. I have a LOT of hair.

@Miss Clover:  Wouldn’t be surprised if it was 101.9. I listen to them often but they do all those random survey things all the time and it’s kind of a snoozefest. Haha they also “read” something about a random statistic then have 10 people call in and do their own poll so I wouldn’t be shocked if it was a terribly unscientific survey.

Shampoo takes about 30 seconds, conditioner I leave on for the length of my shower so maybe 10 minutes (?) and a minute to brush it and put it in a ponytail. I don’t have the patience to blow dry it.

If I decide to put in effort for my hair, it takes me maybe 20 minutes? I’m a big fidgeter though so I tend to leave it natural so it can go in and out of ponytails and french braids throughout the day.

An hour seems crazy long to me! Are they counting showering too maybe?

On a day where I wash it, and just leave it straight, it’s about 20 minutes. If I choose to wash and do something with it, you’re looking at an hour (if I’m like, curling it or something). If it’s unwashed, then about 10 minutes. I have really long hair.

I got a pixie cut about a week and a half ago, and now it takes me 5 minutes. Product, blow dry, more product, done.

When I had long hair, I averaged 20 minutes on a quick day and 45 minutes on a day that involved blow drying. I have really thick hair.

“Poll: How long do you spend doing your hair on an average day?”

About 1 minute – I usually just pull it back into a ponytail.

“On a regular day, whats the longest you’ll spend on your hair?”

The longest I’ll spend on my hair on a regular day is around 10 minutes – that’s when I straighten it, and I do that approximately two times per week.

ETA: I didn’t include the time spent washing my hair.  That adds on another 10 minutes, and I do that on the two days I straighten my hair, so I guess technically the longest I spend on my hair is 20 minutes.

@Miss Clover:  I heard this too.  Maybe they count washing hair too?  I don’t know.. That’s so long!!  I take pretty much spot on 10 minutes with blow drying and straightening.

I spend around a minute on my hair in the morning. I have a pixie cut, so all I have to do is comb it and put on a pretty headband. I used to spend around 15 minute when I had very long hair. I would spend most of that time combing it, the rest of the time parting it in the centre and putting it into a low bun

5-15 minutes to straighten it, but soon to be zero cause I’m going to do the Japanese straightening in about 30 minutes!!  No flat iron for the next 6-9 months!
