Sometimes I"ll email a vendor or a friend about something wedding related and I don't hear back from them. How long do you wait before you call or send them a text/follow-up email to ask if they received the email?

My guess is one week since people are probably vacationing or busy this summer.

    How about you?

It would depend upon the importance of the question I am asking. For example if it were something that needed urgent attention or you felt like needed to be addresed sooner rather than later then I would probably wait a few days. Like if I sent something on Monday I would follow up on Friday. However, if it is something that can wait I might wait a week or two. Who specifically are you having trouble getting in touch with?

I try to do a lot of my important emails on Monday, and if I don't get anything back, I follow up on Thursday to give them a day to respond before the weekend. If it isn't super important/urgent, I would give it a week, especially considering that people go on vacation in the summer like you said. Also, wedding vendors are super busy right now because it is wedding season.

I didn't vote because it really depends.  Right now, I'm stressing a bit because my Pastor hasn't told me yet how much her fee is.  I've asked her twice now, and heard back from those emails regarding the other contents, but never the fee.  Part of that, I think, is perhaps because she's a family friend (my lil sis's godmother, too) and maybe she isn't going to charge me a fee - but I'd like to know either way.  Less than a month, and if it's going to be $300, I need to know!

I'd say it depends entirely on the time constraint that they email subject has.

I usually wait two weeks if it's not super urgent. Sometimes, people just get busy. If it's urgent, then about three days max. But usually for urgent things, I'll call to follow-up.

That said, though, I always respond to e-mails right away :)

Yeah none of it is super urgent...just trying to be ahead of the game (nailing down music and readings for a ceremony that's happening in 5 weeks).  I don't want to wait til the last minute!

It totally depends on who sent it. If they were someone who was paying me money, they'd get a response within 24 hours. Otherwise, it's taken me anywhere from a day to a few weeks.
