Based on my experience, quality chocolates can be stored for up to 8 weeks in a cool - but not cold - low-humidity location. The chocolate's centers are not likely to keep for longer than the 8 weeks, and in some cases (like a fondant center) might not keep longer than 4 weeks depending on the conditions they're stored in and how well the centers were made.

When you do purchase your chocoalte be sure, be sure to store it in a cool, dark, low-humidity location. NOT the refridgerator - that's much too cold and the chocolate risks absorbing the funky tastes that linger in the air in a fridge.

I'm not familiar with the Lindor brand, but it may be possible that one of their customer service reps can advise you on the shelf life of their product.
