I think it's supposed to take less than 3 months from filing, Usually faster for marriage based petition. My DH and I filed in October, as well, but our application is on hold because we got an RFE that we are still trying to respond to.
I totally hear you on wanting the additionally income, we are in the same boat! Good luck and hopefully it comes quickly for you.
@MissHobbit: its like a work authorization thing while awaiting the aos to be done.
update: ead is in the mail according to the status update, been job hunting recently. In the application forms, it usually asks if u are authorized to work in the US, and I know thats a YES since I have the EAD card, but the second question confuses me, if I would need sponsorship now or in the future? I think its a no since my AOS is pending right?

We are in the middle of the AOS process which was filed in early Oct. Just had the biometrics appointment on 11/21. Im wondering when would we get the EAD card will arrive? We would like the additional income since its pretty tight (not horrible) on a single income?
