Ceremony at 2:30, cocktail hour at 4:30 leading into reception, reception over around 10.

I have no choice in ceremony time, we’re getting married in a Catholic Church. Because of how early it is we are starting things off with cocktail hour a little sooner than I’d like so as to not have a huge gap.

We are having a 6pm ceremony and our reception ends at 1am so 7 hours. Though family and friends are flying in for 5-7 days so in some ways we have an even longer celebration 🙂

Our timings were pretty much set by the venue as we have a per person package deal. Though we though it sounded perfect as well. We will have a first look before at around 4pm, some drinks and nibbles and relaxing time in the bridal suite at 5pm and then ceremony followed straight by cocktail hour and reception (Sit down meal) and dancing. Pretty classic set up I think. Look forward to seeing what everyone else is planning though 🙂

Ceremony starting at 1, reception continuing at the same venue until 11 and an after party for those staying at the hotel for as long as people want to carry on (knowing our friends, probably around 3am).  So definitely 10 hours, possibly more than 12!

We planned to be 9-10 hours, ended up in the 12+ category. The ceremony was at 4:00, dinner was at 6:00, dancing from 8:00-1:00. However, once they closed up the dance, we were given the outside lounge area and people ordered pizza, ate extra cake, and partied with us way past 4 AM. I think we finally got to our honeymoon suite at 5AM..6 hours before checkout, lol.

Our ceremony was at 3:30, and reception ended at 1:30am, so 10 hours. During that time we had the ceremony, cocktails and hors d’oeurves, photos taken, dinner, and the dance.
