My Maggie took 9 months to come in, but it did get stuck in customs for a couple weeks.  My dress shop was told that Maggie had a shortage of workers, just an FYI.

Mine took about 8 months.  I think the "rush" timeframe was 5 or 6.  If I were you I would search for a pre owned dress that's in the states already.  I would hate for you to be without a dress on your wedding day.

Did you girls all ask your shops for your recieving date? Should I be worried that the dress will not come in on the actual date? I have called twice and they have both told me January, which would be 5 months, which should be normal for a gown. Why on earth did all your dresses take 7-9 months?

Mine was supposed to take five months but came in four months and she told me mine was supposed to take a couple extra weeks because I ordered the petite 3 inches shorter size.

Mine took 5 months 1 week. I ordered mine only 6 months out form the wedding date and it came 3 weeks before the wedding. Make sure the bridal shop tells them the wedding day 2 or 3 weeks earlier than what it is actually planned and you should be fine.

The months all depend on how far out from the wedding they are. If you are only 6 months out they will make it work. If you have a year then they take their time and get the ones that have pressing time frames done first.

I just ordered mine not too long ago... they said 7 months but it could come sooner.  I'm going to call in a week or so and get the approximate ship date.  The sooner the better! But even if I get mine in May, it's still 5 months til my wedding.

Call the store your going to get it from and they can find out what the current time frame is for delivery. When I ordered mine they got an immediate confirmation date of when it would be scheduled to ship.

@Pilotsgirl09: If you order now, you will be fine. Ask the shop if they recommend a rush and do it if they say to.

Y'all have me freaking out!! I ordered my dress on July 24 and put a rush on it for my Nov 6 wedding. I have been calling and they say it is supposed to be here a week before which is already making me crazy, but I am scared to death something is going to happen and it won't be here in time. They originally told me the 2nd week in oct and then pushed it to the end, so I am nervous!

@Pilotsgirl09: If you bought one now and put a rush on it, I would think you would be safe! I wouldn't wait any longer though.

Okay I just got the call that my dress came in! I am so relieved, and I go Saturday for a fitting. So I bought my dress on July 24 and it came in today, so with a rush, that took less than 3 months! So it IS doable. But not without a ton of stress. lol

My friend's Maggie took 4.5 months to come. The store told us that they put the order in depending on wedding dates and stagger it accordingly. You should be fine.

I haven't ordered my dress yet because I'm trying to lose weight before I got try any on. The size I am now I doubt I could fit into any of the sample sizes. I called the store I'll probably order it from and they said it's a 4 month wait. I'm planning on going at the end of next month, which I know is pushing it but we'll make it work somehow.

My Sottero and Midgley is shipping in May.  I ordered it in October.  I would love to get it sooner, but as long as it gets here by June I will be happy.  The earlier you order it the better.  It will keep you from feeling like its not going to get here on time.

Maggie Sottero has her dresses made in China and their factories are closed for the entire month of February for Chinese New Year. I am on hair pins for when I will get my dress :/ I need it in early June (at the very very latest!!) for alterations and I ordered it on Monday. I am really hoping it comes in super early!

I ordered mine in October and it's scheduled to come in by March 11... I'm nervous it's going to be cutting it to close to the wedding for alterations.

I just ordered the Maggie Adorae, and because it's such a popular dress, they keep a few already cut to size "on hand".  I was told it should arrive in approximately 2 weeks, but certainly no longer than 4 weeks.  I hope we don't run into any snags because I need SIGNIFICANT alterations!

Oh, and I didn't pay a dime for a rush on the dress, either.  That was a nice surprise!

@Ronneykay:  I purchased the Sottero & Midgley Adorae.  It normally retails for $1125, but I got it for $899 because my bridal shop had a trunk show going on that day for another designer.  I totally was NOT expecting a price break.  Between the discount and not being charged for the rush shipment, I was ecstatic.

I bought Fiorella for $1100. The kendra which was my 2nd choice was around $899. I know it's a lot but they are sooooo worthit! You'll feel the difference once you try it on.

I just placed an order for a Maggie dress today... and the ship date is June 6! That's tentative, of course, but if it stays on schedule I should receive the dress after 4 months.

Mine only took 4 months, a month eariler than expected. However, I ordered it in the fall and the dresses usually take longer in the spring/summer months because of the June rush.
