I am doing the flowers for my wedding on Saturday and my flowers are delayed. I ordered 250 roses from globalrose.com to be delivered today, 3 days before the wedding. Apparently there is some mechanical issue with Fedex’s airplane and my flowers won’t be delivered until tommorow evening. I am very concerned they won’t be open enough since they are shipped as tight buds. My plan had been to give them 2 days in water and then put together our arrangments Friday night. Now I’m worried they will still be closed up tight. I did try to call Global Rose and they basically told me it’s not their problem. If the flowers arrive damaged they can refund me but if the roses don’t open it’s my problem. They told me that they promise the flowers will arrive in good condition but they make no claims as to whether they will open or not. Anyohe ever have this happen? How long did it take for your roses to open?
