We were together for 5 years and 2 months when he proposed.
We were together for 3 years and 8 months when he proposed. :) We were acquaintances for a while before we started dating, but we didn't know each other that well, so I don't really count that.
Right at 2.5 years when he popped the question!
we had been dating for 1 yr and 8 months. We knew each other for a few months before that (not sure how long though lol)
I had known him for 4 years but we had only been dating for 1.5. We met at 22 and were WAY too young to even be in a serious relatinship! It was really nice thought that we had known each other for that long because when we finally DID start dating seriously, we already had so many memories.
We've known each other for a LONG time. We don't remember exactly how long. Lol
But we were dating for about 2 and a half years when he proposed.

Together for 5 1/2 at the time he proposed.
A little under two years since we started dating, about a year and a half after we moved in together... and about six years after we technically met but didn't talk to each other. :>
I am going to be the odd ball out and say the hubs and I had only been dating for 7 months before he proposed but I moved to Missouri from Washington (where he was) and I think that rushed things a lot.
He proposed after 2.5 years. Iy will be 3 yr when we get married.
We knew each other throughout college (but didn't really talk until senior year). Became friends soon after graduation and were just friends for about 7 months. Then we dated for 8 months before we got engaged.
He proposed the first time after 2 year then again 5 months later. He wanted to get me a better ring and a more romantic venue.

We've known each other for 7 years, together 6 when he proposed, will be together 7 1/2 when we finally get married! Phew...
We got engaged 1 month shy of our 6 year dating anniversary. :)
Since 9th grade (for him - 10th for me). I guess 10 years or so then. He proposed probably less than year after dating, but officially at a 1 yr and 2 months.
We'd been dating for about 6 and a half years when he proposed! We'd only known each other about 2 months when we started dating.

Known each other for 11 years! But had been dating for 2 years, 4 months.
We dated for 4 years, but had been friends for a total of 7 years before he proposed. We will have known each other for 9 years when we get married. :)

Together (dating) for 4.5 when he proposed, and we'd been friends before that...so we'd known each other 10.5 years by then. A long time!

Two years and one month dating when we got engaged and that's really how long we've known each other.
We had been dating for about 5 1/2 years when he proposed, and we met exactly a week before he asked me to be his girlfriend;)
