how long in advance do you get your dress??

    I booked my venue my wedding is in Sep.. i soo want to hit bridal boot camp to lose a few punds but im so nervous to try anything on now because i know im not at the weight i want to be .. Im scared i wont like anything i try on right now.. when you go try on bridal gowns what should i expect ? Any one have review on Maggie sottero ?

    Well, you may want to just start looking at what styles you like, but as far as a timeline, I would go about 8-10 months out!

    I have about 40 lbs to lose but was told to order my size now and to alter down. I tried on a Maggie and was pleasantly surprised that her sizes were pretty true to street sizes, I also have heard that Maggies take a full four months to come in!! I'm getting married in August and will try to order in December.

    If you think you are going to lose a lot of weight, you might want to wait until closer to the wedding.  If you are just toning up, it won't hurt to buy your dress earlier.  I got mine a year in advance but I was just working out to tone up, not losing weight really.

    yea .. my wedding is in Sep .. so i think its crunch time.. literaly LOL !.. I have an appiontment to see some dress styles next week and even though i just want to go look.. i have a feeling i might be trying it on as well.. I want to go alone is this weird..? it will be my 1st time trying a wedding dress on i kinda want to have it all to myself .. without the pressure..Tongue out
