Our officiant kept us right on track, we were in and out of the venue in just under an hour for rehearsal (2-3pm). We didn't start dinner until 6pm- gave us time to drop off decorations, visit with family, and just relax a little.
I am allowing about an hour. I think our actually ceremony will be about 30 minutes...but I think to run through it probably twice and get everyone organized will be about an hour.
Our officiant told us to allow an hour for the rehearsal. He doesn't want us to have the dinner on the same night because he says it makes people rush through it to get to the food, but I'm not about to ask our wedding party to reserve one night for the rehearsal, one night for the dinner, and basically a weekend for our wedding.

Hey guys,
I am doing up the RD invitations now and I am not sure how much time to actually allot to the rehearsal part! We are having some extended family members meet us after the rehearsal back at our house for a BBQ and need to write down both times!
How long are you allowing for 'rehearsal time'?
