i heard you're sposed to have up to a year to give newly weds their gift(s). that sounds a tad extreme but how about a month?
Id wait a couple more weeks. We had several items bought off our registry after the wedding - we got something just the other day and its almost been 2 months. I know what you mean about itching to go shop though!!! You could always buy the stuff you really want to make sure you get it (especially if its a bit more than what you think a guest would spend on a gift) And that way you buy things before you spend the cash on other stuff!
I'd wait a month. I've been known to buy a gift for a wedding I couldn't attend a couple weeks after! I think you're safe after 3-4 weeks or so!
Depends... do you have a completion discount? I know some places only let you use it once, so I'd wait a few months and make sure you get everything you want. :)
I guess I will wait a little while longer. We do have a completion discount for both registries.
Honestly, we went shopping the week after our wedding, when we got back from our mini-moon. We had a smallish guest list and didn't receive any gifts post-wedding. We wanted to use our registry completion coupons and we wanted to start re-organizing our apartment.
Oooo, I love the idea of only waiting about a month! But we might actually wait until after Christmas, because the mister's been hinting to family that the registry is great for more than just wedding gifts. :)

Obviously, it's only been a little over a week since my wedding, but how long should we wait before I start to buy stuff on my registry? We've gotten more cash gifts than I expected. I'm kinda itching to get a few things especially with some of the gift cards that we've gotten. What do you think?
