My wedding was 2 weeks ago (not the date above) and I am trying to decide how long we should wait to complete our registry. We received many gift card that would allow us to complete 2 of our registries. Also the store where we registered for china has a systen like Michael C Fina does- they send out a card when a piece is purchased, but we are essentially given credit and we place one big order for everything after the wedding and it is shipped out togther. The store recommends waiting 3 months to place the order!
Should we leave up the available items for awhile for those who are purchasing gifts late? How long should we wait to order the china? I was just writing thank you notes and there are a fair number of people who are giving gifts late ( many of them have told us they are getting something, but have not yet.) I was hoping to have our china and some of our cooking items for the holidays-our china takes 4 weeks to arrive!
