I’m just doing up my wedding day timeline. How long do I need to schedule for the getting dressed part?
I have hair/makeup for me and my three girls from 9-11. Then we go to the venue where there is a room for us to get ready. I definitely want to have lunch in there somewhere.
I’m assuming the getting dressed slot is also where the mothers/fathers/readers get their corsages?
I was thinking first look at 1pm…
Ceremony starts at 4.
Any advice anyone? I remember my sister’s wedding being very rushed at certain parts and I want to make sure I think through this beforehand.

maybe married bees could remember how long they took/needed to get dressed on the big day?

I think 2 hours to eat lunch and get dressed is fine– but make sure you’ve got the stuff to touch up your makeup before photos– lunch will ware off most of your lipstick.

um we got hair done at 8:30 for me, bridesmaids had appointments at nine, i got back to hotel room at 9 :45 started doing my make up was done by 10 15, got my kids-flower girl and ring bearer snacks, and somewhat settled down so when the bridesmaids came back to hotel at 11:10 we would be able to get dress with photographers, all of us got dressed by noon , some of us ate lunches while others were getting ready.. we did photos and then went to the church, groom got rushed to hospital at 230, i left church with kids and bridesmaids by 3 at 430 we got the call saying wedding was back on and hubby to be was being released. all the girls and kids and me had put on regular clothes on while we waited for the word. so 430- 445 three kids,5 bridesmaids and me all got our clothes back on and touched up make up and made it to church at 510, walked down aisle at 520
