(Closed) How long to wear veil for

i think usually people take it off for the reception. i was worried about getting food on it so i didn’t want to keep it on. instead, i switched to a big hair flower.

I would take it off after the pictures and ceremony – when people give you hugs, it will tug on the veil.

It’s entirely up to you – see how you feel as the day goes on. I wore mine up until after the last proper ‘event’ for the night (the bouquet toss) because I loved mine and I wanted it in all the photos. But if you’re not sure if you like it all that much, you might not want it in all the photos. Plus they do get annoying!

Just a side note: If you’re not sure if you like it, have you tried wearing it lower down? I found wearing veils up high didn’t work for me but they look a lot more ‘minimal’ if you wear them low. Just a thought… I’m sure you’ll look stunning either way.
