With both kids, I was in labor about 12 hours total.  With my daughter, I didn’t really realize it until about 3 hours in, when my water broke; with my son, I knew right away I was in labor as soon as the contractions started.

About 18 hours with #1 and 15 hours with #2!

ETA: I counted my labor as timeable regular contractions that I had to work through.

Lots of people count labor from their very first contraction, which really feel like period cramps.. so I was in HARD labor for 4 and a half hrs.

10 hours from the time my water broke.  It was 2am and I was sleeping, the contractions weren’t bad enough to wake me up until then.  When I woke up I realised my water had broken also.

I was admitted to the hospital at 6 pm and had her at 3:34 pm the next day. Pushed for 20 minutes. So I was in labor for about 21.5 hours.

ETA: I also counted labor as when regular contractions started. But I had been having irregular contractions for about a week.

Contractions started at 630 on tuesday night… at 930 they were about 20 min apart.. by 1200 they were 10 min apart went to the hopsital at 0100 admitted at 0130 was 7-8 cmm and was at station 2…. they waited to break my water because no body to give pain meds (I wanted the epi, even though i wasnt really in pain was like a 5/ 10) TOo many ppl in labor and what not i guess…. finally it was all done by like 230 and they broke my water… at 530 I said i had to push, they crapped around till about 6 and finally came in the room and told me to do a test push… said to stop till the dr came in.. pob another 10 min… and at 0638 Wed morning I had my lil man     and through it all my epi never worked… I was actually good with the pain till the pushing came…… HOLY CRAP!!!!

22 hours total – followed by a c-section

I went into labor during dinner around 8pm on a Sunday night.  Initial contractions were much more intense than period cramps, but were crazy irregular (like 4 min apart, but then nothing for an hour, followed by a couple that were 10 min apart then nothing for 30 minutes, then 2 or 3 that were 5 min apart, then nothing for 1.5 hours… that kind of thing).

I went in to my OB/GYN the next morning at 9am – I was only dialated to 3 (and had lost my mucus plug), but he sent me to the Hosptial.  They broke my water around 11:30am and started pitocin to regulate contractions.  I was dialated to 10 around 4pm and pushed for a couple of hours, but she wouldn’t budge, so at 6 they did a c-section.  She was born on Monday at 6:38pm.

I’m honestly not really sure. I was induced with cervidil over night starting at 8pm and the doctor broke my water at 8am since I was 3cm dilated…so I think I was in labor that night. If so then it lasted 26 1/2 hours.

To me it feels like 3 days because contractions started on a Tuesday around 4pm and I didn’t have my daughter until Thursday at 11:55pm so I had contractions/labored Tues, Wed, Thurs. I was apparently in prodromal labor. It was awful. But, from the time I was admited to the hospital (so in active labor) until I delivered it was only 18 hours. Only- hah!
