@Kafrine:  as of now, mine will only be like 20min MAX (but that’s my imposed rule… I’m sure you could have it as long/short as you want it!)

The last non-religious wedding I went to was between 10-15 minutes.

Mimeawesome was 15-20. With two non religious readings I loved – and the guests for the most part were standing with cocktails.  Casual and fun 🙂

Ours was under 10 minutes. I completely rewrote the script the marriage officiant gave us, and took out all the embarrasingly sappy stuff. I replaced it with stuff that suited us better as a couple (more silly/funny stuff). Didn’t have any readings.. we wanted it short and sweet and that’s what we got!

15, 20 minutes?  I don’t know, it was all such a blur.  We didn’t go off script or anything and there were no readings, but the officiant said that the standard ceremony she performs takes about 15 to twenty minutes.

( one of our readings was ” the lovely dinosaur”. We got a lot of compliments.  It was a light and cheerful short ceremony
