Ours was 5:30-8:30 about. Perfect amount of time I thought!

Mine was long but it was because we had it at a friend’s house and after dinner was over many of the guests stayed for a few drinks at the backyard tiki bar.

Our actual rehearsal part lasted about an hour, and the dinner was about 3 hours.  It gave it us enough time to eat, mingle, and give our bridal party their gifts.

Ours started at 5:30 and then just left when they want. I think it was around 3 hours.

4 or 5 hours. We had a cocktail hour followed by a sit down meal and dessert. It was a bit long but it was a great time.

I think it depends on how large your group is, what type of dinner, and how chatty your group is. Ours lasted a little over four hours, but we had almost 70 people and an 8 course meal. It didn’t feel as long as it did and almost everyone stayed until the end. We still had time to rest at the hotel and reenergize for the next day. I think 2 hours is a good estimate, although it’d be safer to estimate around 3 (get eferyone settled, eat, socialize, etc).
