We had been dating a little over three and a half years when we got engaged, and our engagement will last about a year and a half. We are getting married the day after our fifth anniversary.
5 years and a few months before we got "officially" engaged (meaning, when i got the ring). we had been talking about it for about 6 months before the official engagement though.
We dated for 3.5 years before the engagement, then our engagement is turning out to be 2.5 years. We were really going for 1.5 years engagement, but we delayed it to deal with a family illness.
We were together for just under 4 years when we got engaged and it will be going on 6 by the time the wedding rolls around- we have a 21 month engagement.
Dating for almost 11 months, engaged for 4 months.

We got engaged on our 11th month "date-iversary" and engaged for 6 months (almost to the day) when we get married. It's been pretty whirl-wind-ish planning, but lots of fun!
Just curious- about how long were you dating before you got engaged?

dated for 5 1/2 year and the engagement will be about 1 1/2 years.. so it will be 7 years when we tie the knot
