Chatted online starting July 2002 or so. Met Feb 21, 2003 in "person" as friends ONLY! Started "dating" in March. Officially a couple April 5th, 2003. Met his parents in May that year. Then he went to Kuwait for 90 days (Air Force Reservist). Since I waited for him, he said he knew I was "the" one. Moved in together that August. Asked me to marry him for the first time Sept 10, 2003. Lived together for two years... (everyone has ups and downs) & I wouldn't get married until I was done with college. Lived apart for a year. Then I graduated college & moved to TN for a year to take care of my mom & he moved to FL to go to the police academy & live with his folks.
Moved to FL April 2006. Asked me to marry him again (with a ring this time!) Feb 2007. Set date in Julyish 2007 Married April 5th, 2008.
So yeah. We dated five years to the date before getting married.
Dating for 6.5 years at the time we were engaged. At the time of our wedding, we will have been together 8.5 years. That's right, we had a 2 year engagement. :)
I think I'm the longest out of everyone, I was very patient to wait to be engaged. It took us over 12 years of dating before we got engaged on 05.07.08! This year is our 13th year of being a couple! YES HighSchool Sweethearts - dated all the way through college and now! Our big day is 07.05.08!
We were dating 5 1/2 years before we got engaged. We have a 9 month engagement. So when the big day finally comes we would have been together 6 years. It all goes by so quickly!
we've been dating (with marriage in mind the whole time) since february 2007 - so, a year and a few months. we're getting much more serious with the marriage talk lately, and consider ourselves engaged now (no exact date of "engagement"), but i think he's really close to an official ring, so i'll keep you updated. :)
our wedding will be most likely in august 2009, so we will have been together for 2 and a half years exactly.
We met in September of 2002, didn't start dating until January of 2004 and were engaged in May of 2007 - so we dated almost 3.5 years. We are getting married June 2008 (less than six weeks away!!) so engagement of 13 months.
We met a little over 2 years before we started dating at a weekend company function. The following year at the same function we talked a litte more(those were held in July 05 & 06)
Started Dating: August 26, 2006-We did the long distance thing, every weekend one of us would drive from Michigan to Ohio, about 2.5 hrs. or vice versa
