We dated for 2 years and 4 months before getting engaged, and will be getting married just over 9 months after getting engaged. One of my best friends dated her husband in HS, they're dating anniversary was May 20, 1996, they got engaged in September 2004, and decided to wait until 2006 to get married, their 10 year anniversary fell on a Saturday and got married May 20, 2006. Haha.
Dated for 5 years before we got engaged. in less than two months, our 1.5 year engagement will finally be over. So, around 6.5 years total (yeah, it's forever, but we started dating when we were 19).
We had our first date in the fifth grade. He was the first boy I had ever danced with. LoL ...became the best of friends through most of high school..dated sophomore and junior year...dated shortly freshman year of college...three years after that, started dating "officially" on May 16, 2007...he proposed Dec. 22, 2007...We'll get married May 16, 2009.
It's nice to say that I get to marry my first love!
We were exclusive for 6+ years and we just got engaged last week! Yay us! I have no idea how to start, where to begin much less plan a wedding! Yay for newbies!!!
Dated for 11 months, and a short engagement too! 7 month engagement, will be married at the end of August :)
