I am ‘unique’. I started using them on my second month…but abandonned them on my 5th month. I have a slight hormonal issue AND my cycle is slightly irregular…so I was getting two or three ‘peaks’ a month. I deemed them a waste of money, and just temped and charted.

Got pregnant after seven months 🙂

FYI: The app I used is called Kindara. It was reccomended to me by my naturopath and it was AMAZING! It helped make what can be confusing and tedious super easy 🙂

I tried using the cheap wondfo’s for a few cycles but found they were hard to read.  So, after 5 or 6 cycles of not getting pregnant, I broke down and bought the more expensive Clear Blue tracker with the smiley faces.  We got pregnant the very next cycle using those!

MsGinkgo : Fom memory I think I got them for our third month of trying. They’re good in the way that they give you an idea of when you ovulate, for example as I have long cycles I don’t ovulate on day 14 but have done anywhere from between day 18-26. But, reading them can be subjective, I never tried the digital ones.

I started at the beginning, because I’m 34 and a little bit Type A about some things. I like to have as much control over things as possible and having more information makes me feel like I have more control.

I also use fertility friend and I temp every morning.

We are on our second cycle of really trying, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to sustain all of this stuff if it takes many cycles.  But for right now, I am loving all of the data.

I bought them on Amazon our first cycle trying, but because I’m too cheap to pay for shipping when free is an option, they didn’t arrive in time so didn’t use them till second cycle.

MsGinkgo :  I started using them right away. But I have since sold them to another ttc-er becuase they were making me crazy. I was just tracking based on period app and scanning myself with uLtrasound to see when I ovulate and it was pretty consistently day 17 for all 7 ish cycles so far until this month… i told myself this month I wasnt even going to pay attention to it, just have sex a couple times a week, and pray for the best. But then I got spotting at cd12 which I have NEVER gotten mid cycle spotting. I was having an endoscopy done that day and was SUPER stressed about it, and I think I caused myself to ovulate Early :/ becuase I verified yesterday and it happened sometime between day 12 and day 14.. 🙁 we only had sex on day 11 (which might not have even had much in it, as dh had provided a sperm sample that morning for analysis) and day 13. Of course the one month I try not to worry or think about it everything goes bonkers.. lol.

If we dont get bfp this month I’m still gonna continue to just have sex every 2 -3 days and pray it happens when it’s supposed to. If you do every 2-3 days you’ll always hit the window at least twice. It only takes one time!

    Good luck!!
