my relationship was SHORT!!! We were together for only 2 months...yea I know! Lol but it felt just so right. He's the only man I want to spend my life with and we have the same opinions on marriage, children, and money...we are best friends to say the least... We already live together so that question of "tolerating" each other is figured out and both our families love us and agree us getting married us wonderful...we are going to be engaged for a year and a half before wedding...anyone else out there with a short bf gf status??? And how long?
We celebrated our 8 year dating annvirsary 3 days before he proposed. We had a couple of breaks in there.....started dating when we were 16. But I think it's great that you're taking the plunge after 2 months, especially if you know it's right!
Congratulations to you! 2months is pretty short but its great when you just Know you've met the right person.
Mine was 2yrs and 3 months.
We'd been together about 3 1/2 years when we got engaged, and it'll be close to 5 years when we get married.

A little more than 5 years. On our wedding day it will be about 6 1/2.
6 years...i was in another long relationship before him for 3 years. i was a serial monogamist. lol.
@Pomapoo: Just about the exact same for me, except it was dating 3 and a half years, married at just over 5 years! We just passed 6 years together!
We were together for 4 years when he proposed. On our wedding day, it will be 5 years and 2 weeks.
We've been together nearly a year. We got engaged around the 6 month mark.
over 4 and a half years! It will be around 5 1/2 on our wedding day. We knew we were ready for a while but had to wait for the money to be there.
I voted for 1mt - 1yr even though he proposed after 13 months. He was going to propose on our 1yr anniversary, but I was upset with him (unrelated to anniversary), so he didn't.
We were at about 5 years when he proposed. When we get married we'll have been together about 6.5 years. We started dating at 16 and we'll both be 22 when we get married.
Four years, but two-plus year engagement, so about six by the time we're married.
We were together a little less than 4 months before we got engaged, but we had been very close friends for 4 years before we started dating. It was one of those things where we knew that if we started dating, we were going to get married. We have the support of all our friends and family. We're also having an equally short engagement (engaged in September and are getting married March 19th). When you know, you know!
He proposed last Saturday 
and we've been together for 6 months. When we get married in September it will 1 year & 1 week from our first date.
We were past the 6.5 yr mark, which would really make me mad if we started dating in college, but I'd taken him to the junior prom I gave him a little leeway :-)
We were dating 2 years before we got engaged. And than we will have been engaged just under 2 1/2 years before our wedding this may. We didn't see a point in rushing things. If we planned to be together forever what was waiting a few more years going to matter.
He told me me he wanted to marry me on the 5th date. Gave me a "promise" ring at the 5 month mark and has told me he plans on the real proposal in June or July. So it would be an 11 month courtship should it happen by July.
We have lived together after the 2-3 month.
PS: to the op: Good on you for knowing what you want. My FH and I are no spring chickens and want to have a baby, so we also have that to consider in our timeline.
it's nice being engaged, just annoying when friends get a little snarky about how short we've been together!!! My mom, younger brother,and I am engaged at the same time! my mom has been for almost 10 yrs and my brother i think a year, neither of them have a date set though.
3days shy of 7months when he proposed on Dec 14, 2010. ! We will be together 2 years when we marry next year!
We'd been together 6 1/2 years when he proposed (just hit our 7 year anniversary in February).
I cannot believe we started dating when I was 19 and he was 20, we will be 27 and 28 at our wedding!

First of all, congratulations! We were together four months when he officially proposed, and we got married after about 2 1/2 years together.
We were together just over 3 years when my partner proposed.
We'll be getting married on our 7 year anniversary (not engagment anniversary).
Just under a year before he proposed. And we'll be having a long engagement of about 2 years!

We've together for about 1.5 years now. :) He proposed about 1 year and 3 months in.
About a year. Just over. We knew each other since 1996 though (we were engaged in 2009).
We were together for 11 months before he proposed. :) I would have said yes at the 2 month mark though! I just knew he was the man I'd marry! :D
We were together 18 months when we got engaged and will be together 3.5 years on our wedding day. But I must say I knew he was the one after 3 months.
