I didn’t even think of this until now. My wedding ceremony doesn’t start until 7 pm (laaaate!!) but we’re doing a first look and pics beforehand, at like 12.
so we’ll need to pick up the bouquets and boutonnières for pictures around 10. I’m suddenly very nervous that the flowers will wilt or won’t look as fresh come 7 pm.
I’m going to try to keep them in the hotel fridge as long as I can but how long realistically can they look good??

MrsCreeToBe: my bouquet looked great for the entire day and the next day. They (mine and BMs) were delivered early AM for our 4:30 ceremony which started late (closer to 5). They sat in water and were fine.

What kind of flowers? Some flowers will be okay for that long, while others will need a vase of water nearby to stay fresh. Just fill the vase enough so that the stems are submerged, but not the ribbon.

I picked mine up at 3 pm the day before our wedding! We kept them in water in the fridge overnight, and they looked great from our 9am ceremony until I tossed my bouquet at 3pm. If you’re worried maybe you can do the first part of your first look without them?
