That looks really loose. If my fingers are cold, my rings slide off easily, but there’s still not THAT much room!  I think you need to get it resized.

@ChellFish22:  I’d like to hear opinions on this also. my ering is a szie 7, but I went and lost 15kg and now it slides off. I have to wear it on my middle finger at present! I have the same knuckle problem as you – they sort of taper with my fingers so they’re not helping with keeping my ring on!

Mine is very loose. I lost ~50 lbs before the wedding and probably went down at least a size. I should really get it resized!

I am a 7 to 7.5 and my rings are 8 to 8.25. I can’t stand it if they are too tight to spin and slide. I just don’t wear one if its too cold.

My ring hits very snuggly. I have to pull pretty hard to get it off. I rarely take it off and I wanted to be able to wear it while swimming without worrying about it falling off.

My wedding band fit on my finder with my wedding ring last summer, I can still get my weding ring on but if I then put my engagement ring on all of a sudden it starts cutting off my circulation. Could I have really gained that much weight since the summer. I don;t think the number on the scales has gone up at least not too much and why does it only happen when I have both rings on at the same time?

mine’s a pretty good fit. it has some wiggle room, but not enough that i have to worry about it slipping off. unless it’s cold- then i do have to be extra cautious. when we go to disneyland or something and it’s a little chilly, sometimes i’ll take my ring off until it warms up a little bit, especially if we’re getting on a water ride.

I really have to work to get my rings over my knuckle, but in this cold weather they spin around on my finger.  They would never fall off though; I have to pull them very hard to get them off, and I cannot put them on or take them off together, it has to be done separately.  That’s how I like it!  They are very thin bands so that is part of it, and I know if they had wider bands I could go up at least a quarter or half size.

Mine are fairly loose but would not fall off. I have knobby knuckles so they fit looser once they get past the knuckle. Ring love handles are one of my biggest pet peeves so I wouldn’t want them tight.

@ChellFish22:  That’s about the same amount of space as mine when I push it up. However, my knuckles are much bigger, so even though it’s loose around my actual finger, it’s actually pretty hard to take on and put off. At normal temperature (whatever that is) my rings fits perfectly. When it’s super cold it’s really loose and will slide around constantly. When it’s hotter it’ll leave a mark on my finger. It always amazes me how much the size of my finger changes based on temperature!

Mine was loose as a size 7 (my fault – told FI the wrong size). I went a year with it that loose and had a couple of close calls, but it wasn’t until I lost (and subsequently found) my ring that I had it resized. They ended up taking it down a full size to a 6 and there is still wiggle room as I was advised that to leave a little room for times when your fingers swell up (heat, allergic reaction, etc.).

ETA: Although I was irresponsible on not getting it resized right away, it was insured!! 🙂

I am a size 6 but my rings are a size 7.  They would fall off if my hands were wet, and slide a round a little, but they have never fallen off with dry hands.  I cannot do tight on my fingers.

It depends on the time of day actually and if I’m hot or cold. If I’m cold, it’s very loose. If my hand gets wet, it’s very loose. Mid afternoon, it’s very loose. Otherwise its a little snug. Who kneww my hand changed sizes that frequently?

My ring size is a 5.5+. I have a size 6 RHR that slides on and off easily when I’m cold, but in the mornings, it’ll leave a red mark but still not be difficult to get off. For my e-ring I wanted it to be tighter. I think FH is getting a 5.5, or maybe between 5.5 and 5.75.
