    I have mixed feelings.  I will probably have one big one with all family and friends; however, I can see it being a bit overwhelming (this could be like 50ish people).  It is a lot of gifts to open at once, and a lot of people to greet and thank for coming.  I can imagine that, in the third trimester, this may be a bit much!  But three showers?  That seems like a bit much too!

    @Talishazwi: Oh yeah, I didn’t think you would throw the OOS one. But I still think that you being responsible for throwing two showers when one is good enough is asking for too much.

    I think if your guest list is only 30ish total for a local shower then it should be combined. Our guest list was about 40 and we had 24 attend – so you probably won’t have everyone there.

    I think 3 showers is excessive.  Combine the local showers together so there is 1 local and 1 OOT.
