So I have a friend who is leaving for her honeymoon next month! I am excited for her! They are going to an all inclusive resort in mexico. She asked me how many bathing suits should she bring (she plans on spending most of the time by the pool or beach) I told her I have no Idea but I would ask you girls! She will be gone 6 nights

I brought 2 suits for our 8 day, 7 night cruise 🙂 I wore one 1 day. The next day, I let than one dry and wore my other one. They rotated through – Every other day being worn, on the opposite days they were drying 🙂
I have a friend who took like 10 bikinis on her honeymoon… 1 for every day!

@Jenlon: Ditto! I don’t think you NEED more than 2!
MsPanda Where is she going if you don’t mind me asking? We’re going to Secrets Maroma Beach in August and I am like kind of always on the look out for someone else who is so I can hear about their experience!! LOL! I like stalk the resorts Tripadvisor sight I just like to hear all I can so I know what to expect 🙂

I usually bring 2-3….for drying time and for different purposes. I have less ‘pretty’ suits that are more for water sports and some that a more for tanning and reading by the pool 🙂

For a week long vacation, I’d vote for 2 or 3 bathing suits.
Minimum of one on, and one air drying.
Also, it is a good idea to rinse them out after use, and hang them up to air dry (either in the bathroom or outside with Clothes Pegs / Alligator – Boca Clips… the latter are great in that you can use them at the beach too, to secure your towel to your lounge chair)

I am a nut about swimwear. I am also going to Mexico for 6 days and I am planning on bring at leaat 5 bikinis. But again, this is just me. I don’t plan on buying any new ones for the honeymoon because I try to stock up on swimwear when the summer is over.
