Right now I am watching the Packer- Bear game, Fiance is a huge Packer fan. He calls Green Bay his Mecca. lol. He is crazy. I have become a packer fan only because I can’t help but get excited when he is about the pack. He is totally a different guy when it comes to football season. He even has said that he wants to get married at Lambeau.
How do you guys deal with your football crazy SO. Do you join in the fun or just stand by and watch them go crazy? I kinda can’t wait for season to be done. Though i don’t know if I can be around my fi if the pack loose to the bears.
Go Pack Go! 🙂

I’m actually the football fan out of the two of us (Colts ALL the way baby!) and I think I drive my Husband crazy!
My guys are playing a very important game to get us into the playoffs, and I keep checking my phone every 2 minutes for score updates (we don’t have a tv, so I never get to watch the games!). 🙂
Guess I’m an odd duck!

My husband is a football fan too, but he’s not a go nuts about it kind of fan. I’m just as big a fan of college football as he is, so that works out well for us. As for the pros, I’m not really into it but I’ll watch a game or two with him. If he were obsessed and watching tons of football every week, I think we’d be having a conversation about it though.

My SO would normally be a Vikes fan but you know how terrible they are right now 😉 He is a football nut though who plays on 2 fantasy teams and we MUST watch each and every game and missing a sunday is a travesty. Most of the time our agreement is if you get the TV I get the computer and then I just ignore his yelling.

Fi LOVES football. (GIANTS). Me? NOT SO MUCH lol.. but I try and make the effort to TRY to enjoy it. I’m more than happy to throw football parties, and love going to fooball games (the tailgating is out of this world)!

My Fiance is pretty football crazy. We have “Football Sunday” in our house which means games on all day, we are stocked with snacks, and we pretty much veg out. Fine with me, I enjoy an occasional game and always find something else to do if I’m not in the mood for Football Sunday. Glad it’s ending soon though!

my nephew ( who is 10) is a viks fan, last chirstmas fi and him had a nice talk about the pack and viks. I had to tell him that he was fighting with a 10 year old. lol

@artwyopie: haha! That always happens with Vikes and Packer fans. The rivalry is so intense.

@MsBrooklynA: yes. I did that with my dance company director;s son. Who is 12. He said something like Packers don’;t compare to the Vikings. lol… I came back with ” THREE SUPER BOWLS”. My director just laughed. lol

I don’t mind that he loves football because he goes and watches it at the bar with his friends, and I get the place to myself for a few hours!

@AClaire: yea that is understandable. I am at home and my fi is over at our neighbors. Though i was asked to come over, I am enjoying watching it without all the yelling and swearing. Plus I get some time on the computer.
