Oh man I wish! Pre-congratulations to the ladies who do get engaged this weekend!
My friend/MOH is like 99% sure it will be this weekend for her... she is on the 'bee but not a super frequent poster (yet!) :)
aw! i'm Corgi's MOH - so sweet of her to post about me. yes, i think it might be this weekend for me. we met july 4th two years ago and our first date was the next day:) he has been dropping serious SERIOUS hints. plus, we've picked a wedding date and venue already, so i think everyone invovled is getting antsy for it to happen. here's to hoping!
I was engaged over that weekend in 2008! The 5th is my bday too. I'm sure a lot of bees will get engaged this weekend.
Ohhh this will be an exciting board to visit on Monday/Tuesday!!! I can't wait to see how many bees get their bling! Doubt I will but never can tell!

I've been a lurker on the boards for a while now, but this is my first post :)
It WAS going to be me this weekend but I ruined his surprise AND my sister kicked her husband out last night (due to infidelity) so who knows. Our ring money is missing from where he has been storing it (me? snoop? NEVER!). He was also whispering to my nieces tonight at the restaraunt when I came back from the bathroom so maybe he has something up his sleeve. I think I will be on pins and needles from here on out. Even though we have been planning our wedding for months now, I still can't wait to make it official!

Well we are leaving for our mini-vacation tomorrow and he has had the ring for TWO months, so i am HOPING it will be this weekend but I dont want to think about it too much. Keep your fingers crossed! :)
Wow! I'm guessing 3 bees will get engaged. Good luck to all of you! I'm mostly a lurker on these boards but starting to get into posting. I'm at the point where I'm starting to go nuts worrying whether we have a future or not....and BF planned a romatic getaway (all by himself) :-) I would be very very surprised if it was this weekend that would be WONDERFUl though!!!

@missboston: thanks! we are both still on cloud nine, and since he did it thursday night, we will have the whole long weekend to celebrate. my boss even told me to take friday off since there wasn't a lot going on at the office, so we had all day yesterday to share our news with family and friends! it really will be 4 day long weekend celebration for the two of us and it is so nice! :) good luck to all the other waiting bees! it is still early in the weekend!
I don't know if I will or won't but I DO know that he has the ring (even though he thinks that I don't). I don't even know if he's talked to my dad about it, which I'm sure he'll want to do before he does the proposal.

Oh dang, you're right! This could definitely be a big weekend! Maybe since tomorrow is the actual holiday I should hold off on the list until Monday, to make sure we include anyone who gets engaged tomorrow but won't have time to post til the next day. Hmm.. but... I am so excited to make another list... they might have to wait another week. haha!
