Hey ladies! I put a poll on this because I love polls hahaha but it really doesn’t need one!
How many bridal shower games is realistic? I have been to bridal showers with no games, and then bridal showers with an obscene amount where you are like let me go already! What is a good amount?
PS if you have any ideas for easy, fun, simple games, shout em out! I don’t want to do anything like How well does the Bride know the groom or vice versa. I think the bride would be embarassed if she got any wrong.
So far I have: Toilet paper dress, guess the cake flavor (I made 5 types of mini cupcakes), clothespin game, purse raid, I was thinking Bridal Bingo maybe, maybe musical bouquet?

The only game I like is where a timer goes off randomly. If it goes off while your gift is being opened, you win a prize. I hate bridal showers where I’m expected to partake in a bunch of games. This weekend I went to one with zero games. It was a hit and everyone commented how great it was that there were no games.
I recently hosted a shower and the only game was bridal bingo. I think 2 games would be more than enough.

@futuremrsmp Ooooh I love that!I think I will replace purse raid with that because I honestly hate purse raid. It’s private in there!

For my bridal shower, my Maid/Matron of Honor had about 5-6 planned, but ended up only getting to 4 of them. We had so much fun that we spent more time on some of the earlier ones! She didn’t know that I’d tell stories after each one of my “guess how your fiance answered this question?” game. 🙂

My bridal shower is this Saturday and we are having 5 games. Who has the groom which takes less than one minute to play. Just pictures in closed envelopes and whoever has the grooms pic wins a prize. What’s in your purse, how well you know the bride. The memory game and candy bar match up. I think that’s not too much. There will only be 12 people so I’d rather have more than I need then less. I don’t want anyone to be bored!

My bridal shower is this Saturday too.. We are playing bridal bingo, how well do you know the bride, pass the bouquet, the make a dress from toilet paper and I think the purse raid.

I hosted a bridal shower and we only did two games. The bridal jeopardy took awhile but was a lot of fun. We also did the toilet paper dress =) After taking a break between the games, opening gifts, and cake afterwards it was the perfect amount.

If you’re going to do them, make sure they’re quick.
I did the “who has the groom”
“my big fat gypsy wedding” (where people decorated pop bottles in teams and made ridiculous dresses out of tissue paper/whatever they could find)
and that was plenty enough, if I had more DIY time I would’ve done a scratch off.
People seem to get irritated with more than that.
