I have quite a few 16 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen. Some people consider us crazy I consider us lucky to have soo many people we lov eand who love us!

    4 of them are sisters

    3 of them are cousins

1 is a friend from elementary school

2 are friends from high school

    6 are college housemates

    Groomsmen

    3 of them are brothers

    5 are high school friends

1 MOH...that's it! We met each other in our senior year of high school. Plus 1 BM and he's the brother of the groom.

I had four bridesmaids.  MOH was my sister, then my two best friends from highschool and my DH's sister.  He had 3 groomsmen.  Two coworker's and his sister's boyfriend.

We had a relatively small wedding a 80 guests, so if we'd had 16 attendants there would have been nobody left to sit and watch the ceremony!

One MOH, one dude of honor.  They were my two adult children.  We only had a dozen guests at the ceremony, so putting 16 into the wedding party would have been a neat trick!

3 BMs, 3 groomsmen, 2 ushers. I wouldn't want to manage a giant bridal party and I like the simple elegance of just a few of our closest up there with us. I also love symmetry, so it was important to me that each BM was matched with a GM to walk up the aisle.

BMs: best friend since middle school, best friend since after college, sister.

Groomsmen: fiance's brother and two best high school friends

    Ushers: childhood friends of fiance

I have 2 sisters who will me my "honor attendants"

FI has a brother who will be his BM, and an old friend who will be groomsman.  However, my brother and BIL are pretty much doing all the groomsman duties for him since his BM/groomsman don't seem very interested in it.

1 MOH and 1 bridesmaid (m grooms sister). And 4 groomsmen. I wanted to have more BMs to match but honestly, I have a lot of friends but none that I am super close to like my MOH. I didn't want to ask people just to make the numbers even.

We're having 3 on each side. My MOH is my sister, one bridesmaid is my FI's sister, and the other is my best friend!! We're having 45 guests at our wedding, so I already feel like 3 might be too many, but it's too late to go back...

Mrs.MedinaJr  I say go for it! My sister got married two years ago with 13 BM's and 8 GM and it was a blast. Pictures in between were so much fun because you brought a lot of the party with you. I can't wait to have all the people I love stand by my side and celebrate the entire day with us!

None!  No bridal party at all.  No wonder I'm under-stressed while everyone else is having meltdowns.

    Sorry for the smugness . . .

nope I just chose the designer, fabric, length and color. We are using Bill levkoff Euro Satin and  they had abotu 50 dresses to choose from. It was really nice at my sisters wedding when she did this because it was fun to see who chose the same dresses and it gave BM who didn't really know each other something to chat about
