I am considering not having any bridesmaids.. Is that bad? My Fiance has a possible best man, but I wouldn’t say that I have THEE maid of honor. I would want at least three maids if I were going that route. Is it bad not to have a wedding party at all? We have three small children.. Are they enough?
How many peeps do you have in your party? Thanks a bunch:)

I’m having 5. As a general rule you have one bridesmaid per 50 guests.

OP, if you want 50 or no bridesmaids, it’s up to you. It’s your day! I will actually have 4 bridesmaids.
@ canadianplum, I’m paying for my bridesmaids too! Everything seems to be piling up. Eeek.

I originally didn’t want bridemaids, but now that Fiance wants groomsmen, I’m having 3. He says if I change my mind, we can go back to not having any. If we do have them, we’ll be paying for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

I have 3 bridesmaids my fi has 4 groomsmen.

It’s totally up to you! If it were up to me though I would have ONE man of honor, or maybe my 2 sisters ( but we aren’t THAT close) but because my Fiance has SO many groomsmen I will have 9, which is the standard for their group of friends weddings.

I will be having 4 or 6 in total for the bridal party. If you want to call it that. We are just having my nephew(11), niece(10), his nephew (4) and cousin(3). Those 4 kiddies are for sure, but I would also love his niece(which will only be 1) and my godson(which will be 2) as my ring bearer and flower girl, but I am afraid they migt be too young still. Hence 4 or 6, but they aren’t really a bridal party I guess, just the most logic people that won’t cause headaches lol.

Fiance is going to have 3 groomsmen, and I have 4 bridesmaids. 2 are my “mini maids of honor”, who are my two little sisters(12 and 13 years old) My other 2 are my two best girlfriends, one that I actually went to preschool with! :]

3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen…we wanted it to be even, and 3 was the only way to do it!

6 of each, 3 jr. groomsmen, 2 ring barrers, 2 ushers, and a flower girl… a big party but we felt we couldnt leave any of the out of our special day.

I have 6 bridesmaids and Fiance has 6 groomsmen. We each have pretty large families and didn’t want to leave anyone out.

5 Bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I would have done less but Fiance wanted 5 and we wanted to keep it even.

We each have 8. I could have gone with less, but he couldn’t with his core group of friends.

We have 4 of each, which was our compromise originally. You should do whatever makes you happy, so if that’s no bridal party, then don’t have a bridal party.
