We’re expecting about the same number of people and I’ve been wondering the something myself… I’m totally bumping this… hopefully someone has some advice!

I think I went with 2/3 or 75% of the total Yes #.  I definitely had a fair number.

Think about things like: little kids, couples, people who are disinclined to look at one (dudes?)

Almost all of our guests were in couples and there were very few singles, plus we had about 6 kids under 8.

You definitely don’t need one per person.

I am having a no kids wedding and considering my wedding is in August here in Cali it’s super hot, 110* is the norm for around then, I will be placing a program fan on each seat, so I will be making about 200.

I made one for each guest and set them in a basket for guests to take – it was WAY too many, I had a ton left over.  I do wish I’d put one on each chair, so that they would have been used.

Since I’m having an outside June wedding in Texas I am making program fans to place on seats. However I know that I wont need one for every guest, so I’m thinking about putting it every other seat and having a few extras.
