    So how many children will you ladies set out to have to complete your family, if any at all. We currently have one son, and are really undecided on whether or not to have another one. Two would be our max ( unless of course we ended up having twins the second time around), but the decision is so hard!

    Vote in the poll, and feel free to say why you would want x amount of children. :) Thanks!

    Where's the "zero" option? We might eventually foster or adopt, but it wouldn't break my heart (or DH's heart) if we never had kids.

    We would like one girl and one boy.  So at least two.  Although, we'll see how we enjoy being a parent when we have our first. But, I'm pretty sure we'll want another one.  As for child number 3, it depends on if we have two girls already or two boys and if we want to try for another.

    I want 2 and DH wants 4. I am afraid to have more than 2 because of financial reasons and my parents were able to give us so much more and take vacations, etc because they only had two kids. So I guess it's safe to say we will stay with 2 but the next 2 would 100% depend on our financial situation. Also, I don't want an odd number lol

    I want 2, FI wants 3, which is not likely unless we end up with twins. 2 is plenty.

    Im in the same boat as you Cash000. We have a 22 month old son and are debating if we want another one. Our boy is such a handful I we feel like life is finally calm. 2 would be the max for us as well.

    DH and I want 2. Just enough to replace ourselves on this earth, as his father says.

    @futuremrsmclean:

    Yeah, thing is we are SO content. But then many woman I know are having or have had their second, and everyone tells us that a child needs a sibling. We really would like to give our son everything in the world, including being well travelled, and love the fact that I can be a stay at home mom financially right now with one. Two children seems like so much both financially, with tuition, flights, day care ( because I would definitely need to go back into the work force) these days, and physically.

    We've agreed on 3, but we'll see what happens when we reach that number; I think my husband could easily be convinced to go for four.

    Right after I gave birth to Addie, I told my husband I wanted a million more.  :)  A bit of an exaggeration, but having her has been such an easy, wonderful experience, I would gladly take a whole house full.

    I always thought 3 originally but now being two weeks away from my due date of our first I think we might be lucky to have 2! I couldn't imagine doing it again at least for another 2 years and with that timeline I'm not sure if I'd be up for a third. :)

    I love that! A house full of kids is a crazy one, as i see with my sister, but it definitely is a loving one without a moment of dullness! :)

    @Cash000:  I come from a family of 5, so I'm ok with chaos.  :)

    I thought our kids were close in age?  How old is your son?  Addie's almost 1  (in 1.5 weeks!).

    We have one DD (6yo), and are planning to TTC by the end of the year. I think 2 will be the max. for us, although I might have wanted/pushed for 3 if we TTCed our 2nd earlier.

    In my perfect world we'd have 4 or 5. But since life isn't perfect we'd be absolutely happy with 2 or 3. I definitely want more than 1 though.

    Ideally we'd want a big family, whether it comes biologically or from adoption.

    @ Mrs.Spring:

    Cutie! Is she walking yet( I'm saying she because of the name, sorry if I am wrong)? My son, Cash, is 20 months now, such a bundle of joy!!

    5 kids is chaotic!! I actually know a lady in my baby group who has 6 right now. She had 5 boys, and finally had their girl on the 6th. I couldn't imagine. However, people have done it, and still do it all the time, and I have plenty of respect for those who do!!!

    Just one planned for us.

    DH is older and I'm not youngin' :) We both want to keep our jobs & live in the city and give our child everything we possibly can. It would be hard to do that for more than one.

    I have a son from a previous marriage, he has a son from a previous marriage and we have a daughter together.

    I really want to have another for multiple reasons, and he's happy with one more (unless it's twins... then we're stuck with TWO more!!! LOL!). I'd love to have twins, a boy and girl, so we can use the names we love. But, I'll be happy with whatever we get!

    I'd like to have 2. Reasons for that is because I'd love to have a boy and a girl (if I'm lucky enough) and I'm an only child and I know how lonely it can be not having and siblings.

    @Cash000:  Yep, a girl; Adelaide is her full name.  She has MASTERED walking and now she is just constantly on the move.  :)  She's so much fun!

    Ah, 20 months!  My nephew was such a cutie at that age; I bet Cash is too.  :)

    DH wants 2 or 3 and I want 3 or 4 so I have a feeling we'll likely end up with 3.

    We definitely hope we end up with at least one girl and one boy as we want to experience raising both (girls and boys are so different).

    @Mrs. Spring:

    Oh I love that name, Adelaide!

    And shes mastered walking. I love watching little ones walk around, its sooo cute!I heard girls walk quicker than boys. Cash was walking then too, but he was a quick mover, he was even crawling at 5 months. I think he is at the best age yet, it just gets better and better! The more they do, the funner ( not a word, I know) they get! Besides the tantrums and all, they are starting already, and thats no fun. But you gotta take the good with the bad! I can't wait until he talks, he doesn't say much tey, just mom, dad, more, juice, vroom! haha

    We have one (5 yrs.) from DH's previous relationship and we are wanting to have two more to make a total of 3. I'll be happy if we have just one more, but I'd love to see myself having a couple of pregnancies :)
