I’m planning on ordering some personalized cocktail napkins, but not sure how many I should get. We will have 150 guests maximum. I’d like to put some out in the cocktail hour area and then some at the bar during the reception.
Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Maybe about 300 – two per person – then buy some plain white ones as a fall back if they run out? That way, you can return the white ones if they aren’t opened.

We will have a similiar number of guests and I ordered 200 for the hour. My venue has regular napkins though, which be used when we run out. It’s cute to have, but I don’t want to spend a ton of money.

Funny you should ask, I just went through this calculation for my own wedding. We have the same number of guests–
For the bar/beverage station– (3-4 hour reception/party)
-about 3 per guest (150 guests x 3 napkins = 450 cocktail napkins)
For appetizer stations–
-about 1-2 per guest (150 guests x 1.5 napkins = 225 napkins)
For dessert stations–
-about 1-2 per guest (150 guest x 1.5 napkins = 225 napkins)
