Wow.
Are you sure you even need cupcakes between the four other dessert options?
Lol! Well the top two layers of the cake are going to be fake, so the bottom layer will be the only real layer. We wanted that so that we could do the cake cutting.
It does still seem like a lot to have the cookie buffet, cupcakes, and a dessert with dinner. I think most people would only eat the dessert and then maybe take some cookies home but not sure if people would eat dessert and cake too.
Since you are having cake AND another dessert with dinner, I think your fine with 150 cupcakes. But, I would be sure to have a menu staing it as "options" vs. your guests thinking they are supposed to have one of each.
We had cupackes only & ordered 1.5 per person, but cupcakes were our only dessert so thats why we broke it down like that :)
Yeah, we were kind of thinking that the cupcakes would go maybe throughout the night, with midnight lunch and stuff. I think we'll only go with 150 then.

Hello ladies, I am having a bit of a dilema. We are having a cake and cupcakes for our wedding, as well as a cookie buffet, and dessert with supper. So the question is how many cupcakes should I get. We are probably going to have about 250 people at the wedding and so we were going to order 200 cupcakes, however it fits in our budget if I only order 150 cupcakes. The only thing is I don't want to be short. What do you think? Should I just not cheap out and pay the extra for the extra 50 cupcakes or should I stick to the budget and only order 150 as their will be enough desserts anyways?
