If you don’t have a reason to worry about conceiving, then don’t worry about it until it ever does become an issue. Take the fact that you are on a website that discusses TTC into account – many, many women don’t ever pop on to a site like this when TTC, many women don’t even TTC at all and just get pregnant when not really trying and not preventing. The ones that do come on here may be skewed towards those that are a little more complicated and need some additional support.

    It took us 3 cycles.

I voted 3 because we were NTNP for about 3 months for this pregnancy.  My first pregnancy I charted my temps and got pregnant the first month TTC.

@missfrillycoat:  I voted 4. We were NTNP for 3 cycles. The 4th cycle I charted my temps, cm etc and got pregnant.

@missfrillycoat:  Haha I hear you! I was on BCP for like 10 years and it was like getting pregnant was the worst.cast.scenario. Then that completely, 100% flip flopped when we started trying.

Ours was a surprise so I guess that counts as 1 since it was the only unsafe sex we had in 8 yrs.

Um, well, we started casually TTC in August and I got pregnant in October, so 3 cycles, but that ended in miscarrage.   I’m pregnant again, on the 6th cycle, we’ll see how it goes.    I voted 3 cycles on your poll because that’s how long it took to conceive the first time, the fact that it didn’t stick isn’t relevant  here 🙂

I got pregnant with my son on the pill, so, that doesn’t count because we weren’t TTC

We were very lucky and got pregnant on our second cycle…with twins. I didn’t chart or anything like that, just good old fashion unprotected sex. …I mean after sex we did yell at the sperm to swim…but thats all we did to TTC besides have sex. I am 27 and DH is 28.
