I was just discussing how many days our honeymoon to Costa Rica should be. I screamed at his "6 days, I dunno? A week?" suggestion. I tried suggesting 10 days. But I just was wondering, how long is your honeymoon?

Ours will be ten, with two days for traveling! We are going to Athens, so we figured we should make it longer than a week.

We decided two weeks.  Only because once we get home, we will have to go on with our busy work-life.  We really wont have a chance to take another vacation in the near future....esp if we decide to have children soon.  We want to take as much time possible and enjoy it while we can

Our trip itself will be a week (7 nights) but we'll be off work for a total of 10.

I think that if you're going someplace where you'll be traveling for a whole day (or more) to get there, you should stay for 10+ days.

We are planning on going to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (3 hour, 40 min direct flight from SFO) for a week.

12 days plus 2 days travelling. So we're taking 2 weeks. However, we're also staying at home seeing our OOT guests the week after the wedding before we go on the honeymoon - so I'm voting 2.5 weeks.

We are leaving Saturday afternoon, and coming home Friday evening, so that's about 6.5 days?  I voted 4-6 just because so much of Saturday and Friday will be spent traveling.

We're most likely going to do a week long honeymoon about a month after the wedding and a 3-4 day minimoon right after the wedding.

We are going for two weeks, but due to travel we are staying at the resorts for 12 nights. Since we are going to Fiji and it is a ways away from us, anything less than 2 weeks didn't make sense.

We'll be in Australia for a full 9 days, but since it takes 2 days to get there AND we're staying an extra day in LA on the return, we're actually gone for 12 days PLUS the 2 days before the wedding when we head to our hometown...gradn total of gone-ness: 2 wks and 3 days

Timeframe:  We're heading to Pittsburgh for the wedding Thursday, getting married on Satuday, hanging out with the fam Sunday and heading back to NY that night, then flying from NYC to LAX to Auckland to Cairns on Monday and arriving Wednesday.  We leave the following Friday and will spend another day in LA finally arriving home in NYC on Saturday (or possibly Sunday - haven't fully decided yet)

I think about 8 days.  We haven't nailed things down yet, but that's what we're looking at.

We will be away for almost exactly a month -- saving up every scrap of leave we have!!

We are going to the US for 2 weeks -- 3 nights NYC, 3 nights San Francisco then drive around California for a week before we fly to Australia, where we're having a second wedding celebration with my extended family and friends -- much much more casual.

    I absolutely can't wait.

We're thinking 2 weeks or maybe a couple days more because we're leaning towards Bora Bora/Moorea sort of thing. If you're going to go THAT far you might as well make it worthwhile right?! We're not leaving until about 3 days after the wedding though so we can have time to visit with OOT guests, relax, pack, etc etc. I don't want to worry about packing my honeymoon bags before my wedding.
