We don't have our next date picked. Typically iwe get 10 days together every 3 months. But, we had 10 days in October and another 10 at Thanksgiving. With the wedding in July, we MIGHT get one visit in before then. SIGH.
1!!!!!!!! We were long distance from April-September, and then he was here and now he's been gone all month. But I leave tomorrow to see him at 4:55pm. SOOO FREAKIN EXCITED. We've both agreed, never long distance again unless it's absoutely necessary--we do NOT do well apart.
@misabell: If long distance weren't absolutely necessary, I certainly wouldn't do it either! FI is military, so we are actually going to be LD for another 2 years. Then *fingers crossed* one of year of living in the same state before we can actually be together full time.
@CholeLeAnn: It's great that you're sticking it out. That is so so hard, I know from experience (the guy I dated before FI was gone about 11 months of every year, and I was with him for 3 years). Good luck and hang in there!
I have great respect for people who have LD relationships because of the military. I've always said that I wouldn't be able to do it, but at the same time...if my SO was in the military, I would wait on him. Good luck with everything, I hope you can be together in person full time soon! (:

I think the 2 weeks before and after visits are the worst. The rest isn't nearly as bad. Thank goodness for unlimited texting and minutes... Oh and Skype :D
@Mrsgurzakovic: Have you and you SO always been LD? We have been from day 1... I guess it helps that we don't know any different!
@CholeLeAnn: Same here.. since day 1 - Its real hard and then when we finally see each other fo 2 weeks.. Its like wre in heaven-- then it all does down the drain the moment we say goodbye.. :( But were staying strong! we have to remember that this is our rough time, and things will get better in just a couple days/months. (: yay!
@AubByAub: How far apart are you and your SO?
@AubByAub: He is in Virginia, I am in California, bad, but could be way worse! At least it is only a 3 hour time difference.
@CholeLeAnn: That's not too bad! But still sucks since you're not in the same place. It's only a matter of time!

Seventy-seven days.
I last saw him five days ago, though. Hopefully this will be the longest wait. I had a LDR before where I didn't see him for 7 months.
Well, I live in the jungle in Southeast Asia and work as a reseracher. He's a UK police officer. I see him in less than 1 month for 3 weeks. Can't wait until I get posted back for good in October. It will be sad to leave here because I love it... but great to see him!
i get to see my fiance in June. He's gonna be visiting for a month. It is a very important visit because that's when we are going to get married - in July :) definitely excited! being 12000 miles apart is not easy but he is so worth it!
@Emily_Joy: I don't get to see mine until the end of May. It kills me to think it's going to be that long before I could feel his arms around me =(
He was here from the 29th of dec till jan 3rd then we will be back together feb 17th to 21st when I go see him in Nyc for a belated valentines. We try to get together every month but sometimes its hard to arrange the time from work!
Next time will be jan. 26-29 he lives in a diff state. I just went to see him for new years on the train though and that was first time I went to visit him since he moved outta state in November. He had been back home three times though. Mostly holidays. He just got relocated for job.
I'm new to our LDR as of Sunday, so it's all still overwhelming. I get to see him March 18th. It seems so far away!
We were long distance for the first 6 years of our relationship. I moved to be with him, stayed for 8 great months, and had to move back for work. 
Hopefully, come this April, his move to my town will be permanent.

I thought we could have a little countdown on here! I fly out to Colorado to see him on January 7th so in about 12 days. I am so ready.
