We invited 50, and 42 showed up!

We had three last-minute no-shows (our Pastor had a brain bleed, so he and his wife couldn’t make it, and a friend who thought she could get the time off told me three days before the wedding that she couldn’t)

@futuremrs1986:  in total we had about 200-210 people, so far we have had 10 declines. We hoping that we get about 160-170 people. We over invited people ;/

We invited 186, and had 135.  It involved an 8 hour drive or 3 hour flight for 75% of our guests, so we were thrilled with such a high turnout!

I had about a 35-40% decline rate, but that was totally ok bc we over-invited (which I don’t recommend, haha). Lots of courtesy invites.

We invited about 140 people, and so far we’ve gotten about 100 yes’s.  I don’t think we’ll get many more; most of the people we haven’t gotten responses from are unlikely to come (out of town, distant relatives, or older and don’t like to travel).

We invited 66 guests. So far we have had 46 yes’s and 3 no’s. Just waiting on the rest of the RSVPs to come in.

I invited 62 and right now it looks like only 42 are coming, So I am planning on inviting 12 more people that I couldnt orginally invite due to the limited number of people we could have at the venue.

Most of our cancelations are people not able to travel across country either becuase of cost, age or can not get off the time from work.

we invited 220 expecting a lot of declines, around 10 people said no. its great so many people came, but we had to change the reception venue…its best to invite how many you hope will come and not over do it!

We invited 180; about 25 were courtesy invitations, as we knew they couldn’t/wouldn’t come. Of the remaining 165, we had a turnout of about 115.

We invited 158 people and knew alot of the people (mainly family) who could not make it.  However, we have had about 10 people we thought would have been able to make it decline, so not a huge amount.  I hope most of them are going to show, I know alot will because they are flying in and I know their plane reservations and flight details.
