    Just curious how many DPO did you get a positive on a HPT?

    And which HPT?

    Thanks!

    I got a positive at about 15 DPO. It was on a first response test but it wasn't the "early result" one, it was the one that DH bought on sale LOL. I took a first response early result test the day my period was due and it was negative. Same thing 2 days later.

    Mine was 14=-15 days past o. The line popped up really quick (less hten 20 seconds) and was dark so im sure if i tested maybe a cday or two before it prob would of showed (im assuiming!) but i wanted to wait til my period was late. i took a cheap dollar store test first and tehn got a digital one to make sure. lol

    The earliest I've seen from others TTC was 10 dpo... but it was very faint. I've also read alot of ladies who were weeks late still not getting a bfp. Because of that I've decided to not test until AF doesn't show. I don't feel like going through hpt like air and getting bfn =/

    @amnystik:Good point about going through HPTs like air. I called my doctor the day after my period was late and I got a BFN and she told me to wait 5 more days and then test again. For the next 2 days I held strong but after that I tested 3 times. All BFNs. DH banned me from buying HPTs and he bought one the night before the day that the doctor said to test. I tested the morning that the doctor said to test and ta da! BFP. I wasted a lot of money on pregnancy tests when I should've just been patient. It's so hard to wait though!

    Mine was 12dpo from a Generic Kroger First Response, and my line was still on the light side.  I wanted to wait until the day my period was due so I didn't have to have the stress of a false negative.

    I didn't even test until 21 DPO, and that's when I got my BFP.

    I thought I was 10dpo when I got my positive but the little bean is measuring as though I ovulated the day before I thought I did. So, I guess I got my faint positive at 11dpo. I highly recommend buying the Wondfo strips on Amazon. They are like $5 for 25 of them and for me at least they were quite sensitive. I got my bloodwork done 2 days after my bfp and my hcg was only 43... it must have been in the 20's when I got the positive.

    What is DPO? I got a positive 2 days after my missed period. Both with First Response and Clear Blue (both digitals).

    Thanks for the responses! Just curious what the average on the Bee is. I think on Fertility Friend it's between 13-15 DPO.

    @His Barista:

    DPO = Days past Ovulation. :)

    So for the first couple of months TTC, I started testing at like 10 DPO - and of course, always BFN until AF reared her ugly head.   After that, I decided that I would NOT test until the day AF was supposed to arrive.   It was really hard to wait, but I found that getting AF was easier to deal with than seeing all those stark white negatives.

    I remember reading somewhere (and of course can't find it now) that although many pregnancy tests claim they can pick up a pregnancy "as early as 5 days before a missed period" the accuracy when testing that early was very very low (it was something ridiculous like 5-10%).  I don't think most tests reach 95% accuracy until 14 DPO.  So that info helped me wait it out too.

    For the early miscarriage before this pregnancy, iI had a very faint line at 14 DPO.   For this pregnancy, I also tested positive at 14DPO but it was a bit stronger line this time round, so it *might* have shown up the day before.

    Soooooooooooo how many DPO are you?!?  Laughing

    wow so many acronyms. haha.

    For my second child, I was damn sure I was pregnant.  I just knew my body. I lost count of how many times I tested, it was probably at least every 3 days because I was that sure.  I tried multiple brands, I didn't get a postive until I was 9 weeks.  I went to my GP and was all "oh I would say I am about 4 weeks" He did a blood test and told me that I was along way more than that, sent me for an ultra sound and they confirmed it.

    I think I was about 10 DPO when I got a true positive.  It was a digital one that says Yes or NO.  I had taken a target brand one with the blue lines a day or two before and the line was so light I just wasn't convinced, on Christmas morning I went out and bought the digital one and sure enough it said YES!  I even cracked it open to make sure!

    Mine was 12 dpo, and I used the test strips.  I had a super faint line and tested the next few days - each day the line got darker.

    FYI - here's the link to the strips I bought (this is for Ovulation and Pregnancy strips)  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FYLNVU

    @echo:

    As of today I am 13 DPO.

    I'm really bummed because I really thought this was it. I was having weird smell aversions, my period is more than 2-3 days late. I'm on day 40 of my cycle the longest it has been in the last 8 months. Not the longest of my life but def like top 3 longest.

    Took a pregnancy test (First Response) 11 DPO and this morning 13 DPO, both negative. My period should have arrived 8 DPO. I'm losing hope drastically for this month. I know implantation can occur anywhere from 6-12 DPO and then another coouple days for the hCG to show up in the urine. I have one more test at home that I plan to take Monday morning at 15 DPO if that's still negative I'm thinking it's a def I'm out this month. :(

    And also my temps were steadily rising but as of 4 days ago it has dropped then flat lined. Sigh.

    I tested at 17 DPO with a FRER.  I spent so many months testing super early, this time I just decided to go on with life normally and basically gave up.  I ignored when Fertility Friend suggested testing (especially since it suggested testing on Mother's Day) and waited a few extra days till I hit a point when I had never been that late before.  I also decided to test in our guest bathroom because I felt like our master bath was jinxed Embarassed

    @regberadaisy:  That must be so frustrating!  But don't give up just yet.  My temps started to take a nosedive before I got a positive one month, so it is possible.   Did your temps drop below your coverline and are remaining there?  Or did they just drop a bit from where they were?

    I'm keeping everything I possibly can crossed for you!!!
