Ummm like 20? But don’t go by that – I was incredibly indecisive and picky.

I went once just to browse, bought the third one I tried on. I personally would only go to two max, after that to me it’s just a bunch of white dresses that look alike.

1. Lasted 90 minutes. Took my mom and my MOH.  Afterwards my mom and I went home, drank a bottle of wine, and watched SYTTD on YouTube (my mother and I had never watched it before) and laughed until we cried.

I went to about 4 or 5 different bridal shops before finding “the one”. I definitely don’t think four appointments is overkill.

5 dress appointments & then I tried on about 130 dresses total….

I know..I know…Ridiculous….

And THEN…even after I bought my maggie sottero dress…I decided to get another dress last week that is a provonais dress.  So NOW I have 2 flippin dresses.

The dresses combined would of been $6,000, but I got them BOTH for sale at this amazing place that has 50% off designer wedding gowns!  Even ones from 2012 collections.:)

I originally thought I would go to 3-5 appointments, but ended up going to 2 before finding the one.  I’m usually pretty indecisive, so finding the dress after 2 shops was really surprising to me.  I would stick with the appointments you have now, and then decide if you need to keep searching after these first 3.

Been to 4 places… Found nothing I loved. Now ordering 2 dresses from Jasmines Bridal because the shops didnt carry what i was looking for.. Its typically either easy for a bride or hard as hell like for me & @Pinkmoon:  LOL!

@LilySarah:  Go to as many places as you can!  Honestly the last thing you want is to regret the dress you chose!  For instance I wanted a trumpet gown, to show off my figure and was set on it.  Then found the perfect color, fit and everything…..but then I looked at a bunch of people’s wedding albums and saw how amazing, whimsical and royal having a ball gown looked in pictures and was afraid I was going to regret not wearing a ballgown on the ONLY DAY you can actually get away with wearing a ballgown.  If I were you I would google designer collections from 2010, 2011, and 2012…From Provonias, Maggie Sottero, Casablanca, Etc or any designer you like(depending on your budget)….and then find a dress you really like, then see if you can find it used or as a sample dress in a bridal boutique and you can get your dream dress for like 30% to 50% off!  That’s just my opinion, from trying on over 100 gowns, lol…Trust me I had no idea what I wanted in the beginning and browsing dresses online really helped:)

@LilySarah:  I think I went to 4 or 5 places? I wound up going BACK to the first place that I went shopping at to begin with and then purchased a dress that was totally different than anything that I’d tried on.
