I’m surprised at the number of people who only try on a few dresses and they are ok buying one. Maybe I am a control freak who needs to try everything before making a decision. Lol.
ETA: I think I tried on around 60, and there were specific designs I scoped out before going, not randomly going to boutiques.

I went to 13 stores. And tried on at least 10 per store.

WOW! Someone tried 150 dresses or more…..that’s crazy lol.

I tried on 6 at the first and 5 at the 2nd! The last dress was the one I picked!

I can’t remember exactly, but I think 10-20 between 3 different stores.

I went to three stores, all in one day. Tried on probably 5-8 dresses in store one – disliked them all. Tried on 12-15 in store two – got a better idea of what I liked, found a bunch of dresses that I loved, but never felt like a bride. Just felt like a girl playing dress-up. Tried on 4 dresses in store three – and found my dress, undeniable, no doubt in my mind! My mom and I came back and bought it the next day. I’ve never wondered if I should have tried on more – there couldn’t possibly be anything better.

I tried on close to 60. Went shopping at 5 stores, tried on about 10 dresses at each store.

I went to 5 different stores and tried on a total of 8 dresses. I don’t like to try on clothes (it’s exhausting to me) and my wedding dress was no exception. Some stores I didn’t even try anything on! The last store I went to I tried on 5 dresses. The 3rd dress I tried on was the one… my MOH had me try on two more dresses in a different style to make sure it was the one.

I’ve tried on 6 so far, going to another store today! I think I’ll probably end up trying 20-30 total, I have a pretty god idea of what I want I just have to find it!

Well with the first dress I tried on 2 and fell in love with the price. Right after I bought it I had horrible dress regret and then I ended up trying on about 10 or so more on before I decided on a dress that I love

I think I made a mistake. I voted 10-20 but I just remembered that there was a 3rd store I went to and I tried on around 10 there so I may be in the 20-30 range. I ended up choosing a dress I tried on at the 2nd store but I bought it at the first store because they have the best service.

NONE! I knew what I wanted. I put in a custom order for it. 🙂

Close to 100. Everything looked good, but I needed that one that was going to make me cry!

I tried on one and didn’t like the way I looked in it. Tried on another and fell in love. The consultant tried to stop me from trying on other dresses, trying to convince me that dress was the one. But I was determined to at least try on the dress that I liked from the beginning so I did. Didn’t like the way I looked in it so I tried on the second dress again and it was perfect, so we got it.

Im kind of different.. I got a free dress so technically i didnt even try it on before choosing it! It was a very simple tulle sample dress, and i knew i wanted a tulle ballgown, so I didnt need to! I can make it what i want with alterations since it was free. And it fits me like it was made for me, so I lucked out!!
For my reception dress, I tried on 3 that were actual contenders. (I wanted tea length, so my options were slightly fewer, and a couple stores I went to didn’t even have any.) The third one I tried on, my MIL said she liked best. I was on the fence, so I tried on that one and another contender. When I put my MIL’s fave back on, the song my FI and I were potentially contemplating for our first dance song came on over the radio at DB. I said “Welp, here’s my sign – DONE!” Im making a few alterations to it as well though to personalize it.
