So we have 90 guests attending our wedding not including vendors and head table. We have 96 guest seats, the tables seat 8, 2 tables have 2 empty seats each and 2 tables have 1 empty seat, is this okay? Will it look weird and obvious to guests? I am more worried about the tables with 2 empties than the tables with 1. I can’t see what I can do to remedy this but I am worried it will look weird at those tables.

I think it would be nice to remove the extra chairs and place settings. I don’t know what the done thing is though.

It do not seem that bad but it might be even better to do like ladyartichoke suggest and remove the excess chairs:)

Maybe some unexpected person will come, who knows.

I have always thought that the venue removes the extra settings and seats. I know when we have functions at work this is how it is done- some tables have 8, some have 10 etc etc.

I don’t think they are removing the extra seats.
@Mda328: I am terrified about no shows lol. I would be more okay with an unexpected (but welcome) guest.

If they can’t remove the chairs I’m sure it will be no big deal. Are you worried about your pictures? Your guests comfort? I can’t imagine either will be affected.

@AlwaysSunny: Not worried about pics at all just at some guests maybe feeling awkward if their tables have 2 empty seats. I wasn’t sure if it would bother people. I personally would not be bothered by it (because I like to put my purse on the empty seat) but I don’t know how others would feel.
