How did the dress fitting go? We have the same wedding date (Im the girl that the stupid bridal shop ordered the wrong dress)... Hope the dress is all it was meant to be!!!
The dress fitting went well, thanks for asking. Only thing was I was not prepared for the alteration costs, cost of petticoat, and press. It was kind of shocking, and I was hoping to pay less. Needless to say I was in sticker shock after I left the boutique but have reminded myself that it's all worth it. I was also relieved that I still love my dress, I was getting worried that I didn't love it.
How are things going for you? I hope you found something you love already and if not hope it's soon.
I had my first fitting on Saturday. I have lost a fair amount of weight so the seamstress has a lot of work to do. I was in sticker shock too- holy moley was it expensive.
I go back in 2 weeks for a second fitting to see where things are at. my understanding is I can keep going back till it is perfect. The bustle was the most expensive, but I think it is because it is such a unique train.
I love my dress but because I haven't actually put one on that fits yet (sample way too small and my own dress is swimming on me)., it's hard to visualize what it will look like in the end.

I go for my first fitting tomorrow, yay! My dress is finally in (I ordered it in August, I knnow right?) I was curious how many times people usually go for fittings? Are there only 2? How does it work?
