I know a lot of brides provide flipflops for their guests to change into at the reception.

How many did you purchase for your guests? I'm estimating about 125 people...

We are ordering 80 for a reception of 150... enough for all the ladies. We will have some left over, but the company that is printing them charges less for a minimum order of 80....

Any suggestions on where to get them in bulk at a good price?  We are thinking of ordering about 75 for 180 guests (lots of kids at the wedding).

I ordered mine from Old Navy; they were $2.50 a pair. I am only providing 30 pairs for a similarly sized wedding, though I am also giving some to my BMs in their welcome bags. I could see where I might provide more, but I am thinking that is enough for 1/5 guests, which seems like a reasonable amount. For everything else-water bottles at ceremony, fans, sunscreen, favors, cookies at the end of the night, we are providing an exact count. HTH!

80 is alot of flip flops. We ordered 40 for a wedding of 150 people and had some left over at the end of the night. Like ErinMarieMack, I also gave separate ones to my BMs. I also got them from Old Navy.

I bought mine for $1 at Family Dollar. It was their end of summer clearance so now is a REALLY good time to get them. I got 25 and am planning on about 300 People at my reception. I don't think the older adults will dance enough to need them.

I only got about 20 pairs, with a guest list of 150.  I took a look at my guest list, and figured most of the women in my Grandma's and Mom's generations won't be kicking off their heels, so I just provided for the younger women.  I got them 50 cents a pair on clearance at JoAnn, so not much help for those ordering now.
