I think we had 200 exactly rsvp "yes" (ok, I admit, I invited a friend of mine last minute b.c I HAD to bump it from 199 to 200!) But we had 4 or 5 people not able to come last minute.
I am praying and hoping we get 130 the max...we are having a sunday evening wedding.
We went from 256 down to 228 tonight. I had to get serious and make some cuts! This wedding is getting out of control!

We were planning for 50, invited just over that number, and ended up with just under 50 (like, 49). I thought it was the perfect number.
250+ all family and super close friends, believe it or not.

@MrsGolden2Bee: Pretty cray cray if I may say so myself. My father had 11 siblings alone so yeaaaaaa....we can't get away with smaller wedding. I will hopefully!
It depends how you count. For the ceremony and luncheon immediately following, we had a dozen guests. However, we had an at-home reception for 60.
I have a max of a 130 people but it worked it's way to 136 this week. However, I predict about 115 showing. Fingers crossed!
We invited around 140 and had just under 100 come. We had a destination wedding in Maine so everyone except MIL had to travel.
inviting 260. i would love for it to be under200. but will likely be 220.
Holy moly I can't even believe some of the responses here - I don't know over 300 people to invite! I mean it's great but I just never wanted a wedding over 100 people. Actually, I was stuck on 80 only because that was my venue's minimum. No friends at the wedding (we're having a post-wedding celebration at our house a couple weeks later since the wedding is family only for $$$ reasons), but you get to do fun intimate things with a <100 guest wedding that you don't get to do with a larger wedding, but as long as your wedding is YOUR vision, that's all that matters :)
