(Closed) How many guests to invite to wedding?

It really is up to you— personally I’d go with a smaller wedding and reception made up of guests that I truly feel close to, than to load the venue with “fillers” but everyone has different values. Do what feels right to you.

@coBride33:  My experience, not just at weddings but in most social circumstances, is that people gravitate towards people they know. Adding more folks who are not close to the people you’ve already invited won’t likely keep the party going; it’ll be more likely to end up with your current group of folks all in one cluster, and the add-on’s in another cluster. Some people DO indeed mingle but most times, folks hang out within their social groups.
