None! I went to cosmotology school before I went to college so I will be doing my own.
I did a lot of research on Project Wedding and other wedding websites and googled like crazy for MUA who can do Asian faces. I had a trial with one who got good reviews but when I went to her, I really didn't like what she did. So I went with another one who I LOVED...
i had used my make up artist before, my sister's wedding. Since I was having engagement pictures taken, I decided to have my trial done on the day of my engagement pictures. Essentially I killed two birds with one stone! It worked out well.
I had a MU trial about a month before the wedding to meet with a MUA who was highly recommended by a friend. I loved her work and booked her, but she ended up having to have emergency surgery the week of my wedding and wasn't available. I then had to do my own DIY trial to make sure that I could recreate a look I liked on my own, because by then, it was too late to book someone else.
For hair, I did one trial with my hairstylist, but she's a good friend who really knows my hair. I knew she'd know what I wanted/liked and that I'd have an easy time working with her. If I hadn't been working with a friend, I would have probably done multiple trials.

I had 3 trials with different MUAs and 1 hair trial. I spent way more than I should have but I felt better knowing that I was comfortable with my vendors.
